THUNDERBOLT 1000AT – SUPERCHARGED
This time instead of using up a chopper by itself, we motionless to offshoot dual 450CFM root blowers together in a tiny plural to see what they’d do as distant as supercharging a siren. According to a dB meter, we essentially succeeded in removing it up to (what would be) 120.2dB @ 100′. The celebration of a mass was taken from 10′ divided from a horn as well as measured

Cant wait to see it!
Oh, because the one i saw was right by the border of Tennessee and Georgia.
Haha yeah that’ll be some major overload there. I plan on coming down as long as I can get some wheels…old smoky finally locked up tighter than fort knox and refuses to free up lol. You think we can rig something up to where we can put this bad boy on a blower? It’s about halfway to sounding like a Thunderbolt instead of a really loud 2T, as of now haha.
There’s also another T-bolt in the industrial park, over where the old steel mill is, and the mill has an STH-10 on the opposite side (unknown if it’s theirs or the city/county’s), and a Model 5 at one of the fire stations, though I can’t remember which it was. So as of right now, there are three 1000Ts, one STH-10A, and one Model 5A
Speaking of overload, you need to bring your ass down here this weekend, I’m testing the howler.
Great sounding Thunderbolt, Ian!
Thats the 2nd Thunderbolt in Chattanooga, TN.
I passed another one in Chattanooga also.
Nah, it’s not the one from Chattanooga, but that one is also 4/5 port though. It’s still in service; they just mechanically refurbished and re-commissioned the Thunderbolts, Model 5, and STH-10 in Chattanooga not long ago.
Hey try to beat the record for the loudest siren!
JAS
Just put more leaf blowers on it
JAS= Just A Sugestion
Isn’t that 1000T from Tennessee that use to be on that roof?
Thanks, and nope, it’s naked! :O I’ve only gotten the chopper assembly painted thus far, and got as far as stripping the old nasty lead-based paint off of the horn. As far as plans go right now, it’s just going to be painted yellow again.
ooo that sounds nice
Is the horn black?
